Our Satisfied Clients I have had the same basic helmet design for my entire career. The original version looked more like flames and had Day-Glo Orange and Lime Green instead of the red and light blue now (I swear those colors were popular in the late eighties!). A friend in the UK updated the design when I raced in the Formula Ford Festival in 1991, and since then it has been tweaked and adjusted every year, but is still recognizable as the original. Alex has really taken the look to the next level. He has added a ton of detail and depth that the helmet never had before, and I really love the flat paint look we are using now. I think the helmet is like a piece of art now, I almost hate to use it each time Alex sends me a new one. Alex has been awesome to work with, and the upgrade ideas have been all his own, I’ve been happy to let him use his creativity and see what he will come up with next. I have worked with many helmet painters over my career, but Alex is a true helmet artist and I highly recommend him to anybody who cares about their presentation at the track.
