About Us
Every helmet we paint goes through many steps before it leaves the shop, starting from design, prepping, painting, clearing and assembling the helmet.

Probably the most important step is prepping the helmet, first masking everything that doesn't need to be painted and then sanding the whole helmet, this way the paint has something to hold on to and it is also important because a badly prepped helmet will chip easily.

Next step is painting, this usually takes time because each color needs time to dry before the next color can be applied. We have always used PPG and House Of Kolor products, their paints are used by many custom painters because they are easy to work with and their durability.

We spray up to six coats of clear on every helmet, this is to protect all the artwork, it will leave a smooth finish and will make the paint more durable. Once the painting is done all the masking is removed, then we'll assemble the helmet again, box it up and ship it back.

Every helmet is different so it is difficult to estimate cost and turnaround times vary throughout the year, best thing to do is to contact us, call or email us to talk about prices and turnaround times.
